Following are some pictures documenting a recent landscaping project. The client wanted all the old gardens removed and replaced with a wide variety of plants native to California. Goals included lots of showy color, a natural look, and the use of drought tolerant varieties.

CLEARING and PREPPING SOIL - The following pictures were taken immediately after  MAIDSTONE Garden Service began the work of clearing the existing plants, tilling the soil and adding amendments. The clients were pleased that the soil held the 3 days of rain that followed without any soil erosion or run off. 1/19/2001
